Iconic New York City
Versatile Photography
James currently lives and works in the New York City area, a far cry from a childhood in the splendors of rural Vermont. An unabashed introvert, James enjoys observing all that surrounds him without feeling the need to be an integral part of the proceedings. His goal as an artist is to express the remarkable within the familiar and ordinary, through critical examination and contemplation of the subject, without alteration of the scene... ...And sometimes he just gets lucky by being in the right place at the right time. PLEASE NOTE: - The 'Fine Art America' watermark that is present on each image will NOT appear on the finished print. %

Douglas MooreZart
James, absolutely excellent work. I LOVE how you have managed to blend foreground and background together, almost organically and yet you can still tell there is space between the light and the building. This is superlative magic. IN the hands of a lesser photographer this would not have been pulled off. Kudos to you! v
James Aiken replied:
Wow, thank you very much for that very kind comment Douglas.
