Stevensville Brook in Underhill, Vermont runs through the lush green forests on the side of Mount Mansfield in the Green Mountain State. Processed in a classic black and white finish.
Underhill, Vermont is home to the highest summit within the State, Mount Mansfield, which has a peak elevation of 4,393 feet (1,339 m) above sea level.
The Browns River is the primary waterway within the town and originates as a stream from Mt. Mansfield. It runs southwest and converges in the valley, just east of the village of Underhill Center with two other streams that also originate from the Mt. Mansfield; first with the Stevensville Brook, and then with Clay Brook about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) further. Harvey Brook, Cranes Brook, and Mill Brook draining from other hillsides within the town also converge with the Browns River in Underhill Center.

James currently lives and works in the New York City area, a far cry from a childhood in the splendors of rural Vermont. An unabashed introvert, James enjoys observing all that surrounds him without feeling the need to be an integral part of the proceedings. His goal as an artist is to express the remarkable within the familiar and ordinary, through critical examination and contemplation of the subject, without alteration of the scene... ...And sometimes he just gets lucky by being in the right place at the right time. PLEASE NOTE: - The 'Fine Art America' watermark that is present on each image will NOT appear on the finished print. %
